in an earlier blog i pointed out that most of the lingerie worn in the 20's and 30's was of a peach, pink or nude hue. while i still believe *most* was, my discovery of this piece yesterday certainly proves that there were some women who were willing to be a little more risque! granted it came with a decidedly flapper-style wedding dress (perhaps this was part of the honeymoon wardrobe?), so given that the owner was willing to wear a short dress with feathers on it to be wed in, she clearly had more moxie than most.....
