Glad there are people reading this, and thanks for the comments! I'm barely getting a dent in the letters, and I want to get some pictures of Jean when she was young put in here to start this right before I start adding letter details (the letters really don't start til the 30's)....but for today, thought a sampling of some of the wardrobe might be nice to share. That and I want to learn to add pictures within the blog! So here are some things she owned....

A stunning pink blouse & skirt set from the late 1880's, tissue silk inset & collar, amazing beading....clearly not something Jean wore, but a family heirloom.

America Wears Vintage

America Ferrera, that is! Just did a quick flip through images from last night's Emmy Awards show's red carpet fashions and right there, front and center on PEOPLE MAGAZINE'S best dressed list was Ms. Ferrera, wearing "(a) vintage black ruched dress, Fred Leighton antique diamonds and Rene Caovilla lace pumps." A gorgeous vintage dress, antique diamonds! Doesn't get any better!

Its party time! Maybe not in real life, but once the summer heat wanes and school is back in session, there are bound to be parties, right? OK, maybe not for everyone, but everyone DOES need a fabulous party dress. I've been adding prom/party/gala dresses and gowns over the weekend (some still need measurements, coming today!)....
